Jessica Fontana

Director, Communications

Jessica joined the Georgia Aquarium Communications team in 2012 as a Public Relations Specialist and worked her way up through the team and now is the Director of Communications. Her role has taken her all over the world filming the Aquariums research and conservation efforts in South Africa, Alaska and Costa Rica to name a few. As Director of Communications, she oversees the public relations and social media campaigns that showcase Georgia Aquariums’ animals, the staff that care for them and the incredible research and conservation efforts. Jessica serves on the Public Relations committee for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, The Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Attractions and The International Association of Amusement Parks and Associations. Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Jessica loves hosting Pinterest perfect gatherings and traveling. Paige Hale

Assistant Manager, Communications

Paige has been with Georgia Aquarium since 2015. She has been in public relations for several years and joined the Aquarium following her work with the Texas Stars professional hockey team, Simon Property Group and various public relations and advertising agencies. Paige is an accomplished writer and communicator who enjoys using her skills to tell compelling and evocative stories about the animals of Georgia Aquarium and the expert professionals who care for them. She is deeply committed to the values and mission of the Aquarium and enjoys watching others experience the excitement and enchantment of the aquatic world. Anslee Schroeder

Assistant Manager, Digital Engagement

Anslee Schroeder, Assistant Manager of Digital Engagement in the Public Relations department, graduated Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Ga. in May 2013 with her Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and minor in Spanish. Through her college career, she greatly enjoyed working with various organizations and assisting with their communications efforts, ultimately leading to the discovery of her passion for social media. After graduation, Anslee began interning at Georgia Aquarium in the summer of 2013, learning how to tell the magical story of the Aquarium through social media and various online communications. She loved being part of such an amazing organization and the impact it had for all who visited. In January 2014, she was fortunate enough to accept a full-time position and continues to enjoy it more every day! Anslee is humbled to be able to tell the incredible stories of the Aquarium digitally to our fans. 

Emily Collins

Multi-Media Communications Specialist

Emily began her career at Georgia Aquarium in 2012 as an Audio/Video intern. Before finding her home as the multi-media communications specialist with the Communications team in 2017, Emily had the opportunity to edit for TNT and TBS at Turner Broadcasting, and produce social media content for various clients while working at CSE. With a communication degree from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), Emily has always had a passion for television and storytelling. When she is not working, you can find her riding her bike down the Beltline, playing soccer, cuddling dogs, and learning how to become a mermaid. Her favorite animal is a giraffe!

Imogen Farris

Coordinator, Public Relations

Imogen has been a member of the communications team at Georgia Aquarium since 2016 after completing a spring public relations internship. She is a graduate of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga. As a Public Relations Coordinator, she supports the team on major campaigns and initiatives, focusing on research and conservation, education, animal care, and veterinary. She also enjoys assisting in social media campaigns, and helping create videos that help highlight the unique animals at the Aquarium. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Imogen has always had a deep fascination for the ocean and loves being able to connect with the fascinating marine life at Georgia Aquarium.

Lindsey Ford

Coordinator, Public Relations

Lindsey joined Georgia Aquarium’s Communications team as a Public Relations Coordinator in 2017.  Lindsey made her way back to her hometown of Atlanta after graduating from Liberty University, located in the small town of Lynchburg, Virginia. Prior to starting at the Aquarium, she worked for the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau.
