Jessica Fontana

Director, Communications

Jessica joined the Georgia Aquarium Communications team in 2012 as a Public Relations Specialist and worked her way up through the team and now is the Director of Communications. Her role has taken her all over the world filming the Aquariums research and conservation efforts in South Africa, Alaska and Costa Rica to name a few. As Director of Communications, she oversees the public relations and social media campaigns that showcase Georgia Aquariums’ animals, the staff that care for them and the incredible research and conservation efforts. Jessica serves on the Public Relations committee for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, The Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums and The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Jessica loves hosting Pinterest perfect gatherings and traveling. When she's not at her office, her favorite part of the Aquarium is watching kids connect and be inspired. You can follow Jessica for exclusive behind the scenes photos and updates on PR activities on Instagram and Twitter.

Paige Hale

Manager, Communications

Paige joined Georgia Aquarium in 2015. In her current role as manager of communications, she oversees the daily functions of the communications department including earned media opportunities and public relations initiatives. Paige has worked closely with major outlets across the globe, including The New York Times, Good Morning America, National Geographic, BBC, and more. She is an accomplished writer and a voracious reader. Prior to the Aquarium, she was a member of the media relations team for the Texas Stars hockey team, the communications team at Simon Property Group, and part of a small advertising firm in Austin, Texas. Anslee Schroeder

Assistant Manager, Digital Engagement

Anslee Schroeder is the Assistant Manager of Digital Engagement on the Public Relations team and currently oversees Georgia Aquarium’s social media strategic efforts as well as external social partnerships. She attended Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Ga. and graduated in May 2013 with her Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. Her journey at Georgia Aquarium began in the summer of 2013 as an intern where she assisted with website development, email initiatives, and social media content. Following her internship, Anslee was fortunate to accept a full-time position at the Aquarium in January 2014. Over the past five years, her passion for social media strategy and communication continues to grow, inspired by the story of the Aquarium’s animals and the amazing work of its dedicated experts.

Emily Collins

Multi-Media Communications Specialist

Emily began her career at Georgia Aquarium in 2012 as an Audio/Video intern. Before finding her home as the multi-media communications specialist with the Communications team in 2017, Emily had the opportunity to edit for TNT and TBS at Turner Broadcasting, and produce social media content for various clients while working at CSE. With a communication degree from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), Emily has always had a passion for television and storytelling. When she is not working, you can find her riding her bike down the Beltline, playing soccer, cuddling dogs, and learning how to become a mermaid. Her favorite animal is a giraffe!

Lindsey Ford

Coordinator, Public Relations

Lindsey joined Georgia Aquarium’s Communications team as a Public Relations Coordinator in 2017.  Lindsey made her way back to her hometown of Atlanta after graduating from Liberty University, located in the small town of Lynchburg, Virginia. Prior to starting at the Aquarium, she worked for the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. When she’s not working she loves traveling, watching baseball and yoga. 

Taylor Moore

Coordinator, Social Media

Taylor first joined the Aquarium team in 2015 as a Public Relations Intern, a goal for her since high school. Conservation and marine biology has a been a passion of Taylor’s from a young age and drove her to minor in biology along with her major in Communications at Berry College.  After graduating, she had the opportunity to work with Brandware Public Relations where she found her love for social media and digital engagement. In 2018, Taylor was thrilled to join the team full-time as a Social Media Coordinator. In her spare time, she can be found playing volleyball at Piedmont Park or traveling.

Marcy Hendryx

Manager of Video Content and Production

After being in the video production industry for several years, Marcy joined the team at Georgia Aquarium in 2018 as Production Supervisor. She graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production and got her start working for CBS 46 on the Better Mornings Atlanta show. There, she met a penguin for the first time and instantly fell in love! After that, she worked her way up from Editor to Senior Producer at LionStar Films.
