ATLANTA (March 1, 2016) – Guests will be able to see California sea lions and a sneak peek of the new SunTrust Pier 225 gallery at Georgia Aquarium starting March 1.
Georgia Aquarium’s California sea lion gallery window will be open for public viewing through the Aquarium’s atrium to help with the desensitization process for the animals and in preparation for the opening of the new California sea lion experience on March 31. The exciting new program opening later this month will highlight this fascinating species. Trainers will interact with this notably social species of pinniped while educating guests on the dangers they face in the wild and key environmental factors that impact them.
In the coming weeks, guests will be able to view on-going training sessions and educational presentations with trainers and California sea lions prior to the official opening of the new SunTrust Pier 225 gallery. Follow Georgia Aquarium on Facebook and Twitter for updates on when these sessions become available to the public.
