ATLANTA (January 27, 2016) - A photograph of Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean Voyager gallery was selected as National Geographic’s Photo of the Day on Jan. 24. The photograph titled “Fleeting Glances” was taken by National Geographic member Jennifer Giliberto, and submitted through Your Shot. Your Shot is an online community where members can publish photos, participate in assignments, receive feedback, and more. Giliberto snapped the picture while visiting Georgia Aquarium with her daughter’s preschool on a fieldtrip.
“I was lucky that the fish cooperated and the scene just pulled together in the short amount of time they were alone in the space before they [ventured] onward,” Giliberto said in her description of the photo.
