Georgia Aquarium has teamed up with Hard Rock Cafe® Atlanta to create co-branded sustainable t-shirts featuring marquee animals.
The collaborative shirts will be released every quarter and feature a different marine life animal on each exclusive shirt. The first of which features a fluffy sea otter and is now available. A percentage of proceeds from each shirt sold will benefit Georgia Aquarium’s research and conservation efforts.
The shirts are part of Hard Rock Cafe’s “Save the Planet” initiative, which also serves as one of the brand’s core mottos. Through this initiative, Hard Rock helps take plastic out of our oceans and prevents it from going in by producing products made from sustainable materials. The co-branded shirts are made of 40% REPREVE® Polyester, the world’s leading recycled fiber made from recycled plastic bottles.
“We’re so excited to partner with the Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta to bring fun, new shirts every quarter that help highlight Georgia Aquarium’s efforts to help conserve our oceans and animals,” said Hiroshi Okuda, Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Corporate Partnerships.
The shirts will be sold year-round exclusively at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta’s Rock Shop®. For more information or to purchase your t-shirt visit www.hardrockcafe.com/location/atlanta/.
